For information related to any individual event, please go the login page, and look for that particular event.
Once you have applied online you will be short-listed for the events you have requested.
3 - 4 weeks before the event, we will text you with further information. If you do not hear from us do get in touch again, but it may be that demand has been too great for everyone to be offered work.
Car Park Marshal
Directing and parking vehicles as they enter and exit an event.
Ticket Selling - This can be selling admission tickets on the gate of an event, or selling car park tickets to cars entering an event. (the minimum age for this is 18)
Ticket Checking
Checking tickets and passes for both vehicles and people.
You must be friendly, polite and have the ability to deal with the public. A good command of the English language is essential. You will be working outdoors, so you must be prepared to work in all kinds of weather conditions and you may be on your feet most of the day.
Please wear:
Dark trousers, skirts or shorts.
Comfortable waterproof shoes, boots or trainers in a dark colour.
Please no football shirts, logos or track-suits.
We will provide:
A high-viz yellow or orange jacket which you are required to wear, zipped up, at all times.
Be careful to look after your SEP uniform because if your uniform is lost or not handed back on the last day of the event you will be charged for this item.
Pay rates depend on the event and your job role.
The minimum rate of pay is:
22 and over = £5.80 ph
18-21 = £5.00 ph
16-17 = £4.50 ph
1. Bring your bank account details and national insurance number. We pay all wages directly into your account. Make sure you have your correct address and postcode.
2. Be prepared for all types of weather, and we mean ALL kinds of weather.
I. Sunshine - Suncream, plenty of water, sunglasses, cap
II. Rain - Waterproofs & wellies
III. Cold - Warm clothing, thin layers work well.
3. It is also advisable to bring food and drinks with you. It can be expensive to buy at an event.
It is your responsibility to look after your own belongings. SEP will not be held responsible for any losses
You should arrive about 15 minutes before your start time.
There is a briefing and you will be asked to complete some paperwork in order for us to pay you into your bank account. Do not forget to bring your bank details and national insurance number with you.
You will be given a work card and be introduced to your Supervisor. Your supervisor needs to sign your work card at the end of EACH shift. Make sure you understand your shift times.
Payments are made on the Monday following the event. and will reach your account within four (4) working days i.e. normally on Friday.

At some events there are camping facilities on site. You will need to check on the website under the event you will be working. You will need to provide your own camping gear.

When you arrive you will be given a staff handbook, which will explain anything else you need to know.
